Oh No! Not another blog post about IE6. Well, I just had to. Typically, I can get IE6 to do what I want, but luckily the one site I can’t get it to do what I want right now is my own. Thus, I decided that at least for my personal work, I will stop supporting the IE6 browser. For some reason, I don’t care to explore any more, all my posts pages freeze up on IE6 and I think it has something to do with the comments form. The other major issue I have with my site on IE6 is the use of PNG’s. I have them displaying correctly but due to some weird positioning the top links of my pages do not work. I love using PNG’s and I wish to use them with ease and without hacks. I’ve tried relative positioning and other various methods with no luck. I don’t know what’s going, nor do I care any more. Anyways, I came across a site disclosing that IE6 was truly dead from the start. I commend this developer/designer for this lovely piece of work. Thank You! I hope that anyone who reads this post will visit this site, download the OBITUARY NOTICE, and pass it on to all the stubborn people refusing to get with the times. I personally think IE6 should be illegal to use anymore.
