2009 has arrived and I don’t feel so lucky… The economy for one continues it’s digression, my Monday back to work was brought with cold icy weather, I was hoping to purchase a PS3 soon and it appears my video card is crapping out, last month’s electric bill has sky-rocketed, and yet I feel calm and relaxed for some reason. I believe this year will be the true test to make a difference. Aside from all the bad things to come, I have a feeling that this year will also bring about so many new ideas. These ideas will help me to strive and move forward in my life and career. This year I intend to teach myself more than I think possible and to experiment more than I did last year. Whether you take baby steps or leaps, move forward. It’s time to get a new video card and time to purchase some new books. I have never been one to eat or follow superstitions; maybe this year I should of tried some peas. I don’t plan on needing luck this year. I plan on making things happen for myself. I plan on sustaining my state of optimism.
Most everyone in my field probably already knows or at least should know about SMASHING MAGAZINE, because it’s one of the, if not the best resource online for us web nerds.
