2009 is going to be a year full of decision making and awareness. Times are dismal, but dismal times breed creativity. As I advance my mind forward in life I must keep a state of optimism at all times. This can be very difficult to do when it seems so much is not in your favor. People need an artistic outlet during these times whether in front of or behind the artwork; art breeds life. Art keeps the world moving and art brings us together. From film, to painting, to illustration, to photography, to sculpture, to graffiti, to web design, to print, to all things art; we need an escape to survive. This is not the time to rest, but the time to be ambitious. This is the time to call upon your fellow comrades and work together to make art. Make history this year by blending your talents and knowledge into something that can enhance culture and our world. By all means, no matter what you do or do not believe about 2012, live this year and the next like it’s your last. Push open the blinds and be creative. Be thankful and open-minded. Listen and open up. Preaching is not what I intend, but to share my thoughts and passions with the world. It all comes down to passion and what makes you truly happy. If you don’t love what you do, then do something else. If your choices are few and you are not completely happy, continue to strive and plan for something else.
