About
My name is Jason Hartsell and I like to experiment in the realm of digital art. Currently I am most passionate about web design, illustration, and photography. I was born in Dallas, Texas and have established the domain name “Abstract Human” for a professional identity. I received a major in Visual Communication (emphasis in Computer Imaging) and a minor in Graphic Design from Northern Arizona University. I have enjoyed creating art since I was young, developing my imagination watching cartoons, fantasy films, and playing Nintendo. Oregon Trail, Logo, and rocking out tunes in Q-Basic came in close 2nd. I remember selling drawings of the X-Men characters back in grade school for 50 cents each. My desire to constantly learn and practice my skills is immense. I truly love what I do and can’t wait to see what I will learn next. I enjoy traveling and visiting other countries which further inspires my artistic expression.
I am currently employed at QuickSilver Interactive Group Inc and have been working on web sites for various clients such as the American Airlines Center, Whataburger, Blockbuster, Uncle Julio’s and many more. I’ve been with the company for a little over 3 years and enjoy the easy going atmosphere.
My goal is to learn as much as possible from all the wonderful “imagineers” and artists in the creative industries so I can continue to grow and develop my own artistic abilities and to put them to work for my clients.
